Joanne Locke and Avery Vogt had a one night stand and had three children. Joanne adopted one more child. Six years later, Avery found out the truth and married Joanne to gain custody of the children. At the wedding, Ellen Vogt and Arlene Whit made a scene. Avery protected Joanne and revealed Arlene's true identity.
