Emily Mill, the daughter of Creston’s wealthiest woman, Mandy Mill, and Chloe Stone, Sandra Stone’s daughter, are mistakenly swapped on the streets. When Mandy finally tracks down Sandra with the help of the police, Emily is nowhere to be found, as Sandra has hidden her away. It turns out that Chloe has been suffering from a severe illness for some time.
