Between Pride and Peril

Taking advantage of his parents' wealth and status in Valia, Tim Cole constantly stirs up trouble with his friends, becoming part of an infamous gang despised by everyone. One day, his mother, Mona Leed, suffers a relapse at the park and is taken by Jane Holt and Phil Soot in their car to the hospital. However, in the parking lot, Tim and his gang block their way over a trivial conflict, unaware that the woman they’re trying to save is his own mother.
